William WARREN als WALLER'S ARMS 1572

“ARMS - Chequy Or and Azure, a fleur-de-lis Argent within a bordure engrailed Sable, on a canton Gules a lion rampant double-queued of the third.”
It is interesting that the illustration of the arms drawn personally by “Rob Cook als Clarencieu” (not Thomas ) does not show the fleur-de-lis and shows nine ostrich feathers (5 azure, 4 or) and an eagle’s claw (argent) in the crest.
