  • Notes
    • I looked up Charles Nathan Waller in the 1881 UK census (because I have the
full set of LDS CD's) and he was living at 21 Major Road, Bermondsey, Surrey.
This address is now considered part of London, but on the south bank of the
Thames. Our Waller's who worked on the river lived on the north bank around
Poplar and Limehouse. Anyway, he was living with his father FREDERICK aged 36,
occupation - 'Foremen of Bonded Tea Warehouse', mother SARAH ANN aged 36,
brother EDWARD HAWKER aged 11, sister EDITH SARAH aged 8, brother FREDERICK C.
aged 5 and a lodger JOHN CROLY aged 60, a widower - occupation 'Mariner'. - Source Hilary Waller email dated 8 Sept 2002.
